OLIVIA COLE

Olivia Cole is the director and co-writer of the series.

Over the last few years and largely as a result of extreme procrastination, Olivia found herself accidentally building up a portfolio of short film and web-series projects for Team Awesome, a small production company which she co-founded in 2012. As a result, she works as a director, producer, writer, editor and actress in various different film, theatre and online projects. Don’t ask her where she wants to specialise or she’ll probably cry.

Beyond film-making, Olivia’s interests include drinking tea, making inappropriate jokes and getting overly invested in fictional characters. It’s probably also worth mentioning that she is the most hilarious person you will ever meet, and that this article is written by an anonymous and intangible source.

Olivia can usually be found in London, Leamington Spa or the nearest coffee shop providing free wifi, but should you wish to follow her adventures, check out the following:

EMILY ROSE

Emily Rose is producer and co-writer for the series.

The crown princess for a minor European kingdom, Emily grew up in a life of luxury – that is until her family were deposed in a bloody revolution. Emily fled to England and grew up in the city of Birmingham (which she feels was an unfortunate choice on the part of her parents). She spent most of her formative years at Stage2 Youth Theatre, where she took part in over ten productions including Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet (actor, the Nurse), Brian McAvera's Picasso's Women (actor, Olga Khokhlova) and James and the Giant Peach (assistant director). She also co-directed a production of High School Musical to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Whilst studying for a degree in English Literature and Film at the University of Warwick, Emily has taken part in many student theatre and film productions including: The School for Scandal (producer), The Bistro (actor) and Twelfth Night (assistant Stage Manager). In Summer 2014, she co-wrote and assistant directed Fledglings (short film), and became a member of the National Youth Film Academy. She doesn’t know how she fit all this around her degree either.

Emily is a life-long fan of Jane Austen and period dramas, and was editor for the Books section of The Boar, the University of Warwick student paper. She writes prose and screenplays, hates talking about herself in the third person and dreams one day of reclaiming her parents' kingdom (with Fire and Blood).

SAM TOMLINSON

Sam Tomlinson is editor for the series.

Sam Tomlinson was born and raised in the dark side of the North where his passion for film coincided with his desire to escape. Sam recently graduated with a 1st in Film and Literature from Warwick University where most of his time was dedicated to extracurricular activities. Sam was Co-President of Warwick Film Society on campus and has worked on several film and theatre projects. His credits include: producer of the theatre production I am a Camera (Warwick Student Arts Festival); director of the short film Walk of Shame; producer of the theatre production The Domestics performed as part of Freshblood Theatre’s “Freshfest”.

He has also been an active member at BFT Film Productions, working primarily as the director, editor and producer of the behind-the-scenes documentary series for Strike/Out – a fictional web series charting university life. He realised that film editing is where his passion truly lies, and has now made the brave decision of editing the mammoth thirty-two episode Elinor and Marianne Take Barton vlog series. His best or worst decision? Only time will tell.

JESS WILSON

Jess Wilson is head of Marketing and Publicity for the series.

She recently graduated with a BA in Film and Literature from Warwick and is soon to embark on her first full-time job as a Marketing Executive in London. She was previously in charge of publicity for The School for Scandal, a play produced and directed by the same team, was co-head of marketing for WUDS' 'Troilus and Cressida' and was the Marketing Co-ordinator for Warwick Student Sport Committee 2014/15. In her spare time she can be found watching endless repeats of Friends on Comedy Central or browsing Pinterest for elaborate cocktail recipes she'll never get around to making. She also runs this website so can say pretty much whatever she likes about anyone - the power.

MADI JONES

Madi Jones is costume designer and supervisor of hair and make-up for the series.

Madi was previously Head of Costume for The School for Scandal play at Warwick. For Elinor and Marianne Take Barton, she created mood-boards to define the individual styles for each character, and helped on-set with assembling outfits and styling the actors.

In her spare time, Madi enjoys sketching with a mug of tea and consuming copious amounts of jaffa cakes. She also has a keen interest in fashion, and the fashions of years gone by, therefore it comes as no surprise that her ambition is to help design costumes on a programme such as Downton Abbey. She enjoys working behind the camera and would like to write more on the subject of fashion and style.

She studied Film and Literature at the University of Warwick, which helped aid her wild fantasies of running around on the moors of a Brontë novel in great long floating dresses. Back at home in Wales, she has worked voluntarily at the National Trust during Summer 2014. Madi greatly enjoyed being amongst all the old relics and clothing of past years, and being able to imagine she’s on a certain period drama TV set....
