BONITA TRIGG

Bonita Trigg plays Marianne Dashwood in the series.

Brought up in a tiny village where the local horse and tractor shows were the closest thing residents had to the West End, Bonita Trigg was at risk of living out her dreams of stardom alongside the local donkey at the village fete – until the bright lights of Warwick University came along and she was transported to the bustling bubble where the sky is the limit.

Before Warwick, Bonita’s experience of acting had gone no further than being a lispy six-year old destined to play the snake in The Jungle Book. It was her red carpet moment. Other Oscar-winning roles have included taking the stage by storm as chorus in several musical theatre performances (she stole the show) and playing the role of Wendla in Spring Awakening. As you can tell, Bonita has a vast and professional background in theatre and performance, which any day now will continue in Hollywood.

JOSHUA ALLSOPP

Joshua Atticus William Dorian Thaddeus Lionel Allsopp plays Brandon Palmer in the series.

Spawned and reared in the Midlands countryside, Josh escaped the horrors of rural life and pursued a career as an actor in the big city, that city being Coventry. Safe to say, he failed. He now moonlights as a performance poet, while travelling the world criticising people for a living. His first anthology is in pre-publication and there is a novel on the way, but don’t hold your breath. In his spare time Josh likes to paint, sit quietly in the dark, and shoot things. He has no other interests.

GARETH ROBERTS

Gareth Roberts plays Edward Ferrars in the series.

Gareth Roberts doesn’t like writing in the third person, but will give it a go. He has been acting from a fairly early age: starting with an adorable yet moving portrayal of the King of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) at the age of 8 and hasn’t looked back. Since then he has preferred to say he dabbles in theatre, from performances as Shakespeare’s Romeo, Orlando and Macbeth to wacky stuff like Dakin (The History Boys) and Dracula (Dracula (obvs)). He performs and directs in theatre regularly in and outside University as a member of the National Youth Theatre and at Theatr Clywd Crymu in deepest darkest North Wales. Making his screen debut in Elinor and Marianne Take Barton, who knows what could be next? I’ve always fancied the trombone. Damn I slipped out of third person. Well, he did, anyway.

CRAIG NANNESTAD

Craig Nannestad plays Will Johnson in the series.

Craig was born and raised in the idyllic West Country. Growing up, he dreamed of being a famous cider farmer. This is one of the most respected positions in the farming world and Craig wanted it. At the age of sixteen, tragedy struck; a cart of apples fell on Craig and damaged his back so badly he would never be able to work in orchards again. This meant that he had to re-think his life, and he came up with flower arranging.

Craig trained under great floral designers Gary Bulb and Rufus Rose in London. In 2011, he was awarded “Best Newcomer” at the Britain in Bloom awards. Eventually Craig wanted to open up his own flower store, but as with all things in life he needed a degree first! He was accepted to study at Warwick and is currently attempting to start a flower arranging society. This project is Craig’s first acting job and he hopes that his portrayal of the lovable Willoughby will ignite the nation's hearts and bring world peace.
